INNOVATIVE AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY CONTEST
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Participation Requirements
Any company appropriately registered as AGROSALON-2010 exhibitor shall be free to pose as participant of the scheduled Innovative agricultural machinery Contest. Contest participation comes as a non-mandatory affair with no financial commitments being attached. Contest participants shall strictly observe any and all provisions of the present Terms and Conditions, while honoring the relevant regulations for AGROSALON-2010 participants.
2. Qualification Requirements
Contest participants shall be developers/manufacturers/suppliers of new implements, equipment, technologies or developments primarily designed to support assorted agribusiness-related tasks covered by AGROSALON-2010.
Demo samples of equipment submitted for the Contest shall be operable and slated to be put on line in the course of 2011. The candidate equipment, that is already marketed, shall be featuring innovative novelties.
The equipment and appliances unrelated to the thrust of AGROSALON-2010 shall not be nominated for the contest.
3. Dates and Deadlines
Contest applications shall be filed in by August 1, 2010.
Contest results are scheduled to be announced on October 1, 2010.
Award presentation ceremony is scheduled for October 6, 2010.
4. Gold Medal
The gold medal for development and fielding of innovative farming technologies shall be awarded to exhibitors of the equipment, appliances or devices whose innovative capabilities would allow either to perform new farming tasks or meaningfully improve the established business practices. The innovative farming technologies shall boast relevant applications or uses and serve to refine business processes. In addition to that, the candidate equipment shall feature advanced energy/resource-saving capacities, with pertinent environmental-friendliness and operational safety features being duly accounted for.
5. Silver Medal
The silver medal shall be awarded to exhibitors of the farming equipment designed to ameliorate or streamline assorted business processes. The candidates shall be judged as to whether they meet the requirements for applicability and better performance of their tasks in terms of quality and speed.
6. Contest application
Contest participants shall be picked out from amongst the candidates filing in their Contest Applications with the AGROSALON Organizer. Importantly, each unit of the proposed agricultural equipment or technology shall be covered by a separate application.
Contest Application shall be covered by the following:
- Pictures of the farming equipment/technology – at least four per each item;
- Full description of new features of the equipment promoted;
- Test certificate or sheet (if available).
7. Requirements to contest application
The Contest Application shall necessarily feature the full name of candidate equipment/technology, with its category, model, upgrade and brief description of innovative capabilities being made available in Russian and English.
Attached to the Contest Application shall be a full description of new capabilities featured by the proposed farming equipment/technology and their relevancy for pertinent business processes.
All attachments shall be done in Russian and English.
The attached pictures shall feature the proposed equipment in assembly and subassemblies/components. All pictures shall be of good quality and submitted in electronic form.
8. Confidentiality
The Exhibition Committee shall be held fully responsible for security of all documents, with the confidentiality rules governing the submitted data being duly adhered to.
9. Address
Contest application with all mandatory attachments shall be filed in with the AGROSAON Organizer not later than August 1, 2010.
Contest application shall be dispatched to the following mail address: 121609, Moscow, Russia; Osenny Bulvar 23, Elizarova Alla.
10.Contest Jury
The Exhibition Committee shall set up the Contest Jury made up of the individuals commanding:
- hands-off and unbiased attitudes, open-mindedness and professionalism;
- expertise in the area of farming technologies;
- solid experience in deployment and uses of innovative applications.
All nominated candidates shall be judged in keeping with requirements for the Gold and Silver Medal awards.
Gold and Silver Medals shall be awarded pursuant to the present Terms and Conditions not later than September 2, 2009. Contest jury rulings shall be final and not subject to any reviews. The Contest Jury shall not be held publicly accountable for its moves or required in any other fashion to explain its definitive decisions.
11.Award Presentations
Contest participants shall be notified of the Contest Jury’s rulings not later than October 1, 2010.
The award presentation ceremony shall be held in the AGROSALON-2009 gala reception scheduled for October 1, 2010.
12.Media Coverage
The Exhibition Organizer shall reserve the right to make use of the Contest findings in order to run a promo drive in support of the Contest and/or AGROSALON-2010 Exhibition through utilization of graphic materials and briefs on the winner-equipment’s innovative features, with relevant references being duly provided for. Any further media releases on the promoted farming technologies and their capabilities shall only be launched on the consent of the manufacturers in question.
Names of the Contest awardees with their pictures and descriptions shall be released via the AGROSALON-2010 media outlets in the days of the Exhibition.
13.Award Set
Each award set shall include a medal and plaque-based diploma for placement at the relevant display stand carried by the Exhibition.
14.Jurisdiction
Any claims and challenges, litigations included, shall be dealt with in Moscow, Russian Federation.
The Exhibition Committee shall reserve the right to have the medals revoked should any term and condition relating to the contending equipment’s descriptions or its capabilities happen to be breached.
