AGROSALON shifts to biennial schedule

The next exhibition will take place in Moscow on October 10 – 13, 2012.

This decision was unanimously approved by the Exhibition Committee.

The global leaders of agricultural machinery arrived at a decision to move to a biennial schedule and confirmed their participation in the next AGROSALON Exhibition being the only professional exhibition in Russia organized with the aid of the leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery.

The given decision was assigned in the MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING, which was signed by the Presidents of brunch unions on December 16 2010 at the Agrosalon press-conference. These are Association of Rosagromash (Russia) and VDMA (Germany). At this date the MEMORANDUM was supported by more than 40 leading agrimaschinery companies.

Based on the results of AGROSALON 2010 Exhibition, the companies specifically pointed out the high level of exhibition organization and the quality of the target audience. By tradition, the major part of AGROSALON attendees was managers of agricultural enterprises, peasant farms and farming enterprises. (Agrosalon 2010 Statistics).

In 2011 the manufacturers of agricultural machinery will direct their attention to marketing events in the regions, and they appealed to their dealers for support.

The long-term experience of organization of similar international exhibitions (Agritechnika in Germany, SIMA in France, EIMA in Italy) shows that it is a good practice to hold specialized exhibitions of agricultural machinery once in two years. Such schedule allows the companies to exhibit only the latest developments, thus attracting more attendees.

of AGROSALON Exhibition

The International Specialized Exhibition of agricultural machinery AGROSALON is the central branch exhibition displaying the latest technical solutions in the agro-industrial complex. AGROSALON is the only exhibition in Russia representing production of all leading global manufacturers. Its Exhibition Committee includes representatives of AGKO, Agrotekhmash, Amazone-Evrotekhika, John Deere, Claas, Case, New Holland, St. Petersburg Tractor Factory, Rostselmash and Same Deutz-Fahr companies. AGROSALON is organized by professional associations of agricultural machinery manufacturers of Russia and Germany, namely «Rosagromash» and VDMA Landtechnik.

AGROSALON Exhibition:

•  is a specialized exhibition of agricultural machinery including the whole range of farming equipment, i.e. tractors, combined harvesters, forage harvesters and soil cultivation equipment, seeding and loading machinery, fertilization and crop protection equipment, etc.

•  is the only exhibition in Russia, which is supported by the leading Russian and foreign companies manufacturing agricultural machinery and equipment

•  has an optimum schedule of the exhibition – AGROSALON is held every other year (during even years) in the best exhibition area in Russia. It offers a wonderful opportunity for the participants to concentrate on the preparation for the exhibition, and for the visitors - to see and estimate [only] the latest technical achievements and recent innovative developments.

•  qualitative target audience – the Exhibition is the meeting place for people making decisions about buying machinery and those directly working with it; owners, managers and leading specialists of commercial farms; regional dealers and graduates.

Promotional event «WIN AN OFF-ROADER»

is held within the framework of AGROSALON Exhibition among the managers of peasant farms and farming enterprises. When attending the exhibition they get a unique chance to win an off-roader UAZ PICKAP, as well as the second and the third prizes – a quad bike and a bicycle. Participation in this promotional event is absolutely free, the only requirement being timely application for participation and participation in the exhibition itself.

In 2009 the first prize (the off-roader) went to the peasant farm “Rossiya”.
In 2010 UAZ PICKAP was won by “Ramenskoye” farm.
